Quander & Son is seeking an Office Manager to organize and coordinate administrative duties and office procedures. Q&S is a general services firm that specializes in recycling, hauling, moving and yard services, based in Twentynine Palms, CA.
The ideal candidate for this position should be detail oriented, organized, professional and have a positive attitude. This position will assist in several areas including accounting, billing, document control and human resources. The office manager will be involved with a variety of office tasks including ordering office supplies, answer the phone, adding project info into spreadsheets, etc. Experience in administrative assistant or office manager roles is preferred.
We will offer a competitive hourly rate ($15/hr +) based on experience and skill level. This is a part-time position with an expected range of 20-25 hours per week with a 4-day work schedule. Example work schedule would be 10am to 2pm Monday thru Friday, although there is some flexibility.
This position will be based in our office in Twentynine Palms.

Requirements
Computer skills including Google Docs and Outlook are required. Experience with PDF software is a plus. High School diploma or equivalent is required, and an Associates degree or better is preferred.
Must have reliable transportation to and from work. (we are adjacent to the bus line.)

Assist with accounting, billing, accounts receivable and human resources
Download bid documents, organize PDF binders for drawing sets, etc.
Organize and prepare billing reports, project lists, change orders etc.
Maintain and update office processes and procedures
Assist with engineering licensure paperwork and maintenance of licenses
Assist in preparation of pdf binders of engineering calculations
Answer and direct phone calls, compose emails and memos
Order office supplies, schedule meetings and assist with general office organizational tasks
Skills
Experience as an administrative assistant, office manager or similar role
Attention to detail and problem solving skills
Strong organizational and planning skills in a fast-paced environment
Time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks and work productively
Proficiency in Excel and Outlook and ability to learn new software
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work well with a team and also work well alone depending on the tasks required
High School diploma required; Associates degree or better is preferred
